Robotics season schedule:
Our mission is to develop the next generation of strategic thinkers for transforming lives through science, technology, engineering, and math.
The Ogden International School's robotics teams compete in the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) leagues to inspire some of our students to become science and technology leaders, by engaging them in an exciting mentor-based program that builds science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
We hope to show that science and engineering can be exciting and fun by providing a spectator-friendly competition environment that has the feel of a major sporting event. Students working alongside mentors will apply real-world math and science concepts to solve an annual challenge. Students will compete and cooperate in team alliances at sport-type tournaments that ultimately help to create the next generation of technology leaders. Through your involvement you will discover the rewards of collaboration, develop a deeper understanding of innovation and engineering, and learn the importance of gracious professionalism.
